# Bundled tools

Frameport uses Electron (MIT), yt-dlp (Unlicense; release executables bundle additional components), FFmpeg and FFprobe, plus their dependencies. Copyright remains with their respective authors.

- Electron source, license and Chromium notices: https://github.com/electron/electron . Electron's LICENSE and LICENSES.chromium.html are included by the packager.
- yt-dlp source and third-party licenses: https://github.com/yt-dlp/yt-dlp and https://github.com/yt-dlp/yt-dlp/blob/master/THIRD_PARTY_LICENSES . Exact bundled release and binary checksum are recorded in tools/versions.json.
- FFmpeg/FFprobe: https://ffmpeg.org/ . The bundled static builds may include GPL components such as libx264; consult each build's configuration and license (`ffmpeg -L`, `ffmpeg -buildconf`, `ffprobe -L`).
- ffmpeg-static source, build scripts and corresponding binary/source release archives: https://github.com/eugeneware/ffmpeg-static and https://github.com/eugeneware/ffmpeg-static/releases . Package license: GPL-3.0-or-later.
- ffprobe-installer sources and build provenance: https://github.com/SavageCore/node-ffprobe-installer . Platform packages include their upstream license and README.

This is a local development/test build. Before public redistribution, distribute the applicable license texts and the corresponding source/build materials required by each bundled binary's license. Do not remove upstream notices.
